About PEPTID8
PEPTID8 is a Dutch company that supplies reference materials, research peptides, and laboratory supplies for laboratory and in vitro research. We ship from the Netherlands throughout the Netherlands and to other EU countries.
Why we work this way
A purity percentage on a product page means little if you cannot verify where it comes from. That is why every product displays the status of the lab report: a report with a lot number and a link to verify it directly with the lab, a report for a different strength, or "Batch report to follow" if no report is available yet. In the latter case, we simply state that clearly.
How we test
- Sample to an independent lab. A sample from a batch is sent to BTLabs. We do not use internal measurements as proof.
- Purity and identity. HPLC determines what proportion of the sample consists of the intended substance; FTIR identification verifies whether it is the correct substance.
- Public per lot. The report is published with the product and on the certificates page, including the lot number and verification link.
What we promise, and what we do not
- Every number on this site carries its source: a lab report, a PubChem CID, or a PMID.
- Reports originate from an independent lab and can be verified there.
- We make no claims regarding efficacy and provide no advice regarding use or quantities in humans or animals.
- If there is an issue with your delivery, report it within 14 days via your order page; in the event of loss, breakage, or an incorrect item, we will resend.

Stap 1
Purity by HPLC
Liquid chromatography separates the sample; purity is the proportion represented by the main peak.
Stap 2
Identity by FTIR
FTIR compares the sample’s infrared spectrum with a reference spectrum to confirm identity.
Stap 3
Content by quantitative testing
A separate measurement determines how much substance is in the vial, where included in the report.
