Return Policy
1. Right of Withdrawal
If you purchase as a consumer, you may cancel the purchase within 14 days of receipt without stating a reason (cooling-off period). The cooling-off period begins on the day after you receive the product or, in the case of an order delivered in multiple parts, the final product.
2. Exception: Broken Seal
Our vials are sealed with a cap and seal. To monitor the quality and traceability of research material, we do not accept returns of products whose seal has been broken after delivery. This falls under the statutory exception for sealed products that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene. Unopened products in the original, undamaged packaging can be returned.
3. How to Register a Return
- Register the return within the cooling-off period via the contact form or by email to info@peptid8.nl, stating your order number and the products you are returning. You may also use the model form at the bottom of this page.
- We will provide you with the return address and instructions.
- Return the products within 14 days of your notification, properly packaged, and retain proof of postage.
4. Costs
The costs of returning are at your expense, unless we delivered an incorrect, damaged, or incomplete item.
5. Refund
We will refund the purchase amount, including the original costs for standard shipping, to the account used for payment. We will do this within 5 business days after we have received and inspected the return, and no later than 14 days after your notification. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the products back, or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods.
6. Damaged, Incomplete, or Not Delivered
That is not a return but an issue with your delivery. Report it within 14 days of delivery via "Report an issue" on your order page, including a photograph. We will reship free of charge or provide a refund. Your statutory rights regarding a product that does not conform to the agreement remain fully applicable.
7. Business Buyers
The right of withdrawal applies to consumers. If you are purchasing for a company or institution, please contact us; we assess returns on a case-by-case basis.
