What is inside
One hundred alcohol wipes with 70% isopropyl alcohol, each individually wrapped. 70% is the standard concentration for disinfection: the water fraction slows evaporation, allowing the alcohol to maintain contact longer than a solution of near-pure alcohol. Each sachet contains one wipe, so you only open one at a time.
Laboratory use
Use one wipe per contact point: the rubber septum of the bacteriostatic water vial and of the peptide vial before each withdrawal, and the work surface before you start. Allow the alcohol to dry before puncturing; puncturing while wet introduces alcohol into the vial. A single reconstitution therefore requires at least two, plus one for each subsequent withdrawal. A box of 100 is sufficient for multiple vials in most setups.
Storage
Store dry at room temperature, in the original packaging. A wipe whose sachet has already been opened is dried out or contaminated and no longer usable. Available separately in the lab accessories section. For laboratory use only.

Why 70% and not 99% alcohol?
At 70%, the water fraction slows evaporation, allowing the alcohol to maintain contact longer. Therefore, 70% is the standard concentration for disinfection.
How many wipes do I need per vial?
At least two during reconstitution (septum of the BAC bottle and of the peptide vial) and then one per withdrawal. A box of 100 is usually sufficient for multiple vials.
Does the alcohol need to dry before puncturing?
Yes. Puncturing while wet introduces alcohol into the vial; wait until the septum is dry.
How do I store the wipes?
Dry at room temperature in the original packaging. Do not use a wipe from an already opened sachet.
How do I place an order?
